COMMITTEE

  • Set the agenda, run the committee meetings

  • Support & supervision of paid employees and Head Coach

  • Issue resolution, channel of communication between committee & members

  • Co-ordinate committee for effective management of the club

  • External club representation

  • Stand in for Chair when required

  • Chair & oversee sub-committees

  • Internal club representation, face-of-the-club  including content eg website

  • Special projects decided by the Committee eg new uniform, fundraising, funding with Treasurer

  • Provide direction and structure

  • Liaise with coaches for all grades

  • Liaise with grade coordinators and coaches

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining coaches' development and grade program in conjunction with coaches

  • Ensuring team entry

  • Finding coaches

  • Coaching 

  • Financial planning & budgeting

  • Present financial reports to the Committee monthly

  • Uphold financial requirements of the club including liaising with external professionals eg auditor

  • Ensure financial obligations are met

  • Banking, book keeping & record keeping

  • Control of fixed assets & stock

  • Payroll

  • Liaise with Chair, send out agenda and documents prior to meetings

  • Record & send out minutes of meetings

  • Communicate, track, & follow up meeting actions

  • Store all meeting documents

  • Communications & correspondence

  • Uphold legal requirements of the club

  • Liaison with club administrators to delegate specific admin duties

  • Community liaison for club members & parents

OTHER NON-COMMITTEE ROLES

​CLUB ADMIN 

  • Manage memberships: applications, renewals, databases, member communications.

  • Day-to-day office/admin tasks

  • Coordinate events and activities: bookings, logistics, ticketing, volunteers.

  • Primary point of contact for all Sea Wolf community members, 

  • Transfers

  • Registrations/Friendly Manager

  • Coordinate all events and activities: bookings for tournaments, logistics, travel etc. 

 

​U12 COORDINATOR
Working with our Parent Liaison, supporting U12s -  our largest age group. This non-coaching, internal-facing role is focused on supporting players and families within the U12 group. A key liaison between:

  • The committee

  • Club administration

  • Coaches

  • Parents and families

The aim is to ensure clear communication, smooth induction of new members, and a positive, well-organised experience for all U12 families. â€‹â€‹â€‹

PACK CURATOR

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts.

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting: ledgers, reconciliations, AP/AR.

  • Process payroll, player/staff contracts

  • Ensure tax compliance and financial obligations are met

  • Support strategic financial planning, cost analysis, and financial modeling for growth decisions

GRANTS & FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR 

A non-coaching volunteer role focused on securing financial support for Sea Wolf Water Polo through grants and fundraising initiatives: 

  • Identifying grant and funding opportunities

  • Coordinating and submitting funding applications

  • Working with the committee and club community to maximise fundraising outcomes

  • Supporting both club-wide initiatives and individual member fundraising opportunities
