September Specialist Series

We are incredibly excited to announce a unique opportunity for Sea Wolf athletes: a series of water polo clinics led by two top American coaches, Paul Splitt and Breck Weiny.

Paul and Breck bring a wealth of experience from USA National Team coaching roles, as well as extensive involvement in American high school, club, and college programs. Their coaching expertise is second to none.

All sessions are held at St Cuthbert's College.

Your Coaches

Paul Splitt

With over 25 years of coaching experience at the highest levels, Paul Splitt brings unmatched passion and expertise to the pool. Holding a degree in kinesiology, certification as a P-12 physical educator, and a master’s in coaching, Paul has a proven ability to develop athletes from beginners to elite performers.

He has led championship programs, coached across all age groups, and mentored athletes who have gone on to compete at both the collegiate and international levels.

Paul’s experience includes directing water polo camps at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and representing the United States with the 18&U National Team in Budapest, the global capital of water polo. Known for his energy, dedication, and ability to inspire, Paul creates a training environment that is both challenging and supportive—helping every athlete reach their full potential.

Outside of the pool, Paul can be found spending time with his wife and 4 year old daughter.

Breck Weiny

Breck Weiny has more than 15 years experience coaching water polo. His coaching background

includes time at the American high school, junior college and club levels, and he has contributed to winning programs and championships at all levels.

He also spent several years in the Olympic Development Program as the head coach of the competitive Coastal Zone. As part of ODP, Coach Weiny also served as an assistant coach/video coordinator to the Youth National Team and Head Coach to the Cadet "B" Team.

These positions took him to places such as Spain and Peru, where he was on the gold medal winning staff at the 2017 Panam Youth Games. Coach Weiny is also known for his writings as the "Water Polosopher" and lives in Southern California with his wife and two daughters.
